Pokemon Scarlet and Violet was first released in 2022 and, nearly a year later, it got its first DLC— The Teal Mask. In this new DLC, new content has been brought in for players to check out. Not only have more returning Pokemon like Feebas entered Scarlet and Violet, but a few new Pokemon have arrived as well.
Although the number of new Pokemon in Scarlet and Violet: The Teal Mask is a small, they are some powerful Pokemon worth capturing. The Loyal Three is a group of three Legendary Pokemon that should be on every Trainer's radar. Here, we are going to teach you how to find and catch one of the Loyal Three, Okidogi in Scarlet and Violet.
Scarlet And Violet: How To Find Okidogi In The Teal Mask
Throughout the entirety of The Teal Mask, players will be told stories about The Loyal Three, of which Okidogi is a part of. During the main story, players will battle Okidogi themselves and its location will be marked. But afterward, Okidogi will vanish until you complete the main story. So, players cannot catch Okidogi until they complete The Teal Mask DLC.
Once the main story is complete, players will have the opportunity to catch Okidogi. All they have to do is return to where they found Okidogi the first time. Okidogi is found on the north end of the Paradise Barrens in The Teal Mask. Once players find Okidogi after completing the DLC story, players can catch it for themselves.
Scarlet And Violet: How To Catch Okidogi In The Teal Mask
Now to catch Okidogi, players will have to play it smart. Although this Pokemon looks intimidating, it's actually not too difficult to catch. The first thing players should do is throw a Quick Ball to see if they can catch it fast. If that doesn't work, players will have to put in a bit more effort. Thankfully, there's a strategy that should make it less painful.
Kingambit is perfect for catching Okidogi, especially if it's at level 100. Kingambit is immune to almost all of Okidogi's moves and, at level 100, should not be knocked out by a fighting move. Use Swords Dance, then Thunder Wave, and then False Swipe against Okidogi. Once players get this Pokemon down to a low health, Okidogi should be very easy to catch.
