Best and Worst of Psych - Page 2 - Psych [V]

I found out about this show a couple of years ago and treated myself to the complete series boxed set (yay me) because I love it so much. I think there's probably episodes I've missed as I work my way through, I've seen most on reruns but I'll take a shot at the questions :)

1) If you could keep just FIVE episodes to watch over and over and...

Not Even Close..Encounters (my absolute fave ep, I laugh over and over every time)

High Top Fade Out (love Gus centric stuff, love the singing and Shawn's look of stunned joy when he sees Gus sing the first time is heart-warming)

Cog Blocked (yup, Gus-centric)

American Duos

Dual Spires  oh wait - maybe Disco isn't Dead, it was Murdered - eek that's tough!  I can watch either really. Wait again!  I can watch The Amazing Psych Man & Tap Man, Gus tap dancing and throwing the sand makes me laugh until I cry...I can't choose!!

Honorable mentions:  High Noon-ish, Last Night Gus, Deez Nups, Lassie Jerky, Lock Stock, Some Smoking Barrels etc

2) Your three favorite relationships:

Shawn/Gus easy #1

Lassie/Juliet - what a great friendship pairing, I know some saw them as couple potential, I never did.  She really grew past being mentored by him and they were great friends.

Shawn/Henry -though Shawn did regress, their relationship progressed.  I liked it.  I liked Shawn/Lassie also and felt their relationship naturally progressed.

3) Your 3-5 favorite characters other than Shawn, Gus, Juliet, Lassie and Henry:

McNab, Woody, Despereaux (he was in just enough eps).  Chief Vick was OK but they never did too much with her.  Gus's parents were fun. 

4) The five episodes you're most likely to skip while rewatching:

Do I have to??  Hmmm - probably the Pilot (I don't like Shawn's flailing around in the early eps)

Rob-a-Bye Baby (kind of blah for me)

An Evening with Mr Yang (though I like the puzzles and mystery, I can't stand Ally Sheedy in this, even briefly, she's so over the top)/Mr Yin Presents (again, I like the premise, the Hitchcock stuff, Lassie/Juliet at the end but Ally Sheedy, ugh)/Yang 3 in 3D

Cloudy with a Chance of Improvement (I mean why?? The original episode is so good, this one didn't need to be done at all)

Right Turn or Left for Dead

Psych the Musical (normally something I would enjoy, but didn't like it all)

5) Your 3-5 LEAST favorite characters:

Are you all surprised?? Mr Yang is #1

Abigail - I wanted to like her, but her "so cool" dialogue just didn't seem to fit the character and I didn't like that she went to Henry after Shawn asked her to drop it

6) Characters or episodes most fans seem to love that you're kind of indifferent to:

I don't know :((  From reading here and TWOP it seems Spellingg Bee and 9 Lives are loved but I'm meh on both of them

7) Characters or episodes you seem to love a lot MORE than most fans:

I don't see the Amazing Pysch Man mentioned often but I love it (the Mantis! Tap Man! Shawn going boneless again LOL)

The Old and the Restless (Henry loving the nursing home and then the three of them running out before getting busted..hee)

All the Despereaux episodes, esp after Shawn gets his man-crush going; love them all

Viagra Falls (Shawn and Gus trying to work with their older versions)

Earth, Wind and Wait for It - I liked Morgan (too bad she had to be rescued) and was very happy that both Gus and Shawn got be heroic and each carried someone out of a burning building

There may be more..for characters I don't know - I liked Shawn all the way through, even though they regressed him, though Gus is my favorite.
