The Magic: The Gathering World Championship XXIX kicks off Friday with more than 100 players battling it out for their share of a $1 million in prizes over three days of Standard and Wilds of Eldraine Draft action. Here’s all you need to know about the culmination to the 2022-2023 season:

Event Overview

The competition runs from Friday through Sunday at MagicCon: Las Vegas at the Las Vegas Convention Center.

Friday

• Rounds 1-3: Wilds of Eldraine Booster Draft
• Rounds 4-7: Standard
• Top performers advance to Day 2

Saturday

• Rounds 8-10: Wilds of Eldraine Booster Draft
• Rounds 11-14: Standard
• Top 8 cut

Sunday

• Top 8 single-elimination bracket: Standard

Standard decklists will be published on Friday at 5 PM ET on Magic.gg. Draft decklists will not be published.
